THE COURSE
The Beer Summit 5k leaves the APEX Entertainment facility with runners heading Northeast on the sidewalk of Boston Post Road, eventually taking a hard right to head South on Glen Street. Participants will eventually cut through a pedestrian walkway to Ames Street, and then a left onto Forest Road.

Runners and walkers will then take a left onto Sandini Road to eventually weave through the neighborhoods immediately adjacent to the Richer Elementary School. At roughly mile 2.5 runners will return to Glen Street, making their return to Boston Post Road and APEX Entertainment, to celebrate their finish.

The race starts at 371 feet and reaches a max of 460 feet, with a total gain on the course of 226 feet. There is a substantial downhill on the course shortly after the start, at about the 1/2 mile mark. The largest uphill is just after mile 2.5, as you make your return to Boston Post Road before the finish line.

Other Course Considerations
Aid:
The course has one water stop at mile 1.5, just after runners take a left-hand turn back onto Sandini Road from Flynn Avenue. Volunteers will be there to greet you with a water as you walk or run by!

Safety Concerns:
Since this course uses public roadway we ask that you do NOT use headphones. Strollers are also NOT allowed due to the varying terrain of the course.

First Aid:
If you need medical attention, there will be an EMT at the finish line monitoring all finishing runners. If you find yourself in trouble on course, please notify our course staff/volunteers and we'll get someone out to you.
